FAQs – AirPufs High Heel Insoles

FAQs

Airpufs High heels and shoes Inserts

Airpufs is a very, very small team, and we are committed to making beautiful and well made objects. We are not fast fashion. We are thoroughly slow fashion. If you are in a rush, we will absolutely try to accommodate you, but keep in mind that our strength is quality not pace. Thank you for understanding this and respecting our work and vision.

Basics

What are AirPufs?
Air Pufs are 3/4 high heel insoles cut from a premium super foam, previously only prescribed in custom form for injury recovery and medical use. We've adapted them for everyday shoes and printed over them so they would be fun to wear.

Are AirPufs only for high heels?
Air Pufs are originally designed for high heels, however if you reverse them they work amazingly well as heel cushions for flat shoes too.

What shoes size do AirPufs suit?
Air Pufs are one size fits all; they concentrate the cushioning on the parts of the feet which suffer the most pressure!

How should I care for my AirPufs?
AirPufs are very durable impact-wise, and will keep their shape over many wears. Nevertheless, excessive tugging and soaking in water can cause damage to their open cell structure. Be gentle with them and you will enjoy them for a very long time.

Where do you get your patterns?
All patterns are AirPuf originals and vary seasonally. We love prints and believe you can never have enough of them!

Do you have unprinted AirPufs?
We currently do not stock unprinted AirPufs, although drop us an email if that's what you would like. Covering AirPufs with pretty prints was inspired by the Asian practice of removing one's shoes upon entering the house. We think shoes should be beautiful inside and out.

Where are AirPufs made?
Our foam is made in the US and the insoles are finished by hand in Singapore. All dyes and processes of the individual prints conform to the strictest quality standards and are hypoallergenic.

Where is AirPufs based?
We are based on the sunny isle of Singapore and the great city of Chicago.

Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. We want you to be happy with your order. Due to hygiene and the nature of the item, we only accept unworn Airpufs (ie if you ordered two pairs, we will process a return and refund for the untested one). Please read below for how to return an item.

Shipping

Where do you ship?
We ship everywhere. Currently all packages are being sent from Singapore and North America.

How much is shipping?
Worldwide Flat Rate shipping is USD$7.

Express shipping internationally is USD$24-35

How long will shipping take?
Shipping times vary depending where you order from, but below is a rough guide to transit times.***
(Please note these times are guidelines and are not applicable in December).

1-3 business days within Singapore.
6-11 business days to Germany.
8-16 business days internationally

***When will my order ship?
We ship online orders from our studio once or twice a week. Please keep this in mind when calculating how long it will take to get your order.

I want them ASAP! Can you ship them faster?
Yes we can. But it is much more expensive than the nominal amount we charge for shipping on normal orders. Express shipping generally adds $30 or more. Yikes.

Returns

Do you accept returns?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If you are not, you may return your unused goods within 30 days of receiving your order. The insoles must be new and unused, with packaging intact. The cost of mailing the return package will be borne by the customer.

How do I return something?
1. Send us an email letting us know you are returning an item and why.
2. Mail the unworn product, in its original packaging, to:
